Jacquie Campbell has been coming in on and off for the last few days and on Day 6 she came along with Lyn Whitehead and made the book illustrated in the photos below. Come down to The Cloisters and have a look at this treasure – we are open until Saturday at 4pm

Not only were the Kirins artists in residence on Day 2 of the Fine Not Fine Art Exhibition but also we had the very talented Sylwia Dylewska. She worked with lino, she described her work as being about creating a texture on a surface:
The Kirins in residence this afternoon: Myself (Stephen) and Lorna felt drawn to illustrating hands in the Cloisters which were touching the environment and feeling the perimeters of the architecture, touching and being at one with the environment being an archetypal mindful activity at the same time.
